olive oil1. Olive Oil – This is simplest of all hair remedies. All you need to do is heat up olive oil in a microwavable cup until it’s warm. Use your fingers to run it through your hair and twist it up into a plastic shower cap,  and leave it on for about 20-30 minutes. Then rinse out with shampoo.  I still had extra residue in my hair. I personally didn’t see much of a difference in my hair but I think that this scalp treatment would be great for someone with dry hair. You can also mix in 1/2 cup of honey. You can also warm it slightly in the microwave to make it thinner and easier to run through your hair. Leave the treatment in for at least 30 minutes and then wash with normal shampoo and conditioner. This made my hair look less dull.
