I recently watched an interesting program called ‘The Truth About Exercise’ from Horizon in which Michael Mosley looked at what works and what doesn’t work with regards to exercise. What I find interesting with these types of programs is that more often than not the researchers are looking for a magic solution to gaining supreme health in the smallest amount of time with the smallest amount of work input. What also strikes me is that very often the ‘experts’, who have all sorts of qualifications in things like exercise science and nutrition, are not in such great shape themselves. In fact many are overweight and struggling with their diet themselves.
